Good news!

Stacey will be on The X Factor Semi Final next week!
The talented Dagenham diva and last Dannii girl standing was the first act to called out.
She will join Joe, Danyl & Olly on the 2nd last show.

Super stunning proud Dannii looked smashing in hot pink shorter dress and her famous hair in a high cool quiff. Cheryl looked glamourous as well, Simon Cowell had a grey suit instead of a black one and Louis had brand new sequined tie.

Lloyd left the show and although he had tough competition, he had his best performances last night.

Dannii does it her way

How great is this picture!

Dannii is still sitting down while her fellow judges Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh joins Simon Cowell as he gives his boy Danyl another standing ovation.
Dannii gave him A plus comments but clearly wasn't that impressed with his performance.

8th live show

It was the Take That / Elton John week as last girl standing Stacey took on some of the greatest songs in the British music history. Dannii was on fire tonight, her comments were more honest and constructive than ever before and the contestants even said they agreed with her.
All the acts did incredible well this night, Joe, Olly, Danyl and even Lloyd had stepped up a little bit.
Stacey was the last act out to sing. Her first number was Take That and their 'Rule the world' which recieved raving reviews from the judges.

Louis expressed his love for the Dagenham diva: I like you every week. I think you’re getting better and better. You don’t believe this but you’re a really good singer. You absolutely did it for me.

Cheryl was equally impressed: I don’t think people realise how tough it is to sing a male vocal when you’re a female vocalist.

Simon had the last word and said: Where you have an advantage being a girl singing a male song is that it’s not going to sound like a karaoke version. I thought that was very believable, it was the perfect song choice for you, and it was better than your song last week.

Stace's second song was Elton John's "Something about the way you look tonight". Laying a piano she recreated the famous movie scene from The Fabulous Bake boys feat. Michelle Pfiffer on a piano, singing her heart out. Despite this, the comments form the judges were a little more harsh than they had been on her earlier show. Louis said he wasn't crazy aobut the song, Cheryl said she didn't look comfortable and Simon said he didn't like the song for her, because it didn't suit her.

Dannii's comments

Danyl: Relight my fire
"That was an amazing production, an amazing performance, the choruses were bang on... the verses were pitchy for sure. And I'm not sure about the body rolls - the dance steps were great but I'm not sure about the body rolls!"

Lloyd: A million love songs
"Lloyd, a million girls out there want your phone number. You're always putting on a great performance, you always bounce back, and you always come out fresh. I would just say don't complicate your melodies because you're making it difficult for yourself, and tuning-wise you were going off in the verses."

Olly: Love ain't here anymore
"It's kind of getting back on your horse after being in the bottom two and starting with a ballad, which is not your thing. I admire you for getting up there. But the sparkle was not quite in the eyes."

Joe: Could it be magic
"Joe, you are absolutely flying high. You took the opportunity to do a hard song, and I know you've been nervous this week and worried about the notes, but you absolutely smashed it. And I can picture you in the final, I can see that."

Stacey: Rule the world
"Stacey, that was an amazing performance. You're emerging as the true star of this show. I don't think people realise how much you've grown week after week. There's incredible support for Dagenham Stace and we love you."

Round 2

Lloyd: I'm still standing
"Lloyd, lyrically you're definitely still standing, you're proving a point there. It was a fantastic production. Vocally, it is still shaky on bits, but it was better than the first song. Much, much better."

Danyl: Your song
"That was a really great version of a really great song, and it was much, much better than the first song. Lots of good singing!"

Olly: Saturday night's alright for fighting
"Scrooge, move over. Round one was OK, round two was an absolute knockout. I'm really happy the grandpa suit's gone, but you've got a sparkle in your eye. The song was absolutely made for you and very technically difficult - but it was absolutely a smash."

Joe: Sorry seems to be the hardest word
"There hasn't been a song sung in this year's competition with more passion than that. The feeling you have conveyed through the lyrics is just exceptional. I have to see you in the final - please vote for Joe."

Stacey: Sometihng about the way you look tonight
"Stacey, that was a brilliant performance. I push you week after week to do more and more. I really, really loved it. I don't know what Simon's going on about!"

The Fabulous Dannii Girl

Tonight Stacey will turn The X Factor into the Hollywood Factor. According to various media sources the Dagenham girl will recreate the famous moviescene featuring Michelle Pfieffer laying down on a piano while singing.

Stacey will be singing two songs, one by Take That (rule the world) and the other one by Elton John (the way you look tonight).

Her mentor, the lovely miss Minogue, was as mentioned yesterday praised as a judge by her former boy Rhydian. Some cynics said his comments were irrelevant since Dannii was his coach. However on Danyl Johnson's video diary he was asked who he'd like as a mentor and he replied Dannii. There have been tons of debates after Dannii questioned his change of lyrics when he performed on the first live show. Miss D's pro-Gay comment about his sexuality raised questions that Danyl dislike Dannii but considering he'd like her to mentor, thats obviously not true.

Remember to vote for Stacey!
